Le Mystère No. 9
Now, there is a post surgical product designed specifically for augmented breasts...
Introducing Le Mystère No.9, a collection of patented, innovative, designer bras which compliments the unique changes in shape and size that occur after a breast augmentation. Le Le Mystère, a leader in the intimate apparel industry, teamed with David B. Brothers, M.D., FACS, a board-certified plastic surgeon to co-develop Le Mystere No.9, which has issued patents worldwide. The No. 9 collection was inspired by years of clinical observation, measurements and complaints from women that following a breast enhancement procedure were not able to find bras that fit, were comfortable and had fashion forward styling.
Le Mystère No.9 was designed to combat problems that women with breast enhancements faced with ordinary bras. Through clinical research and mathematical formulation, we were able to determine just what the contributing factors were and take steps to eradicate the problems.
Le Mystère No.9's patented, mathematically defined and designed cup, using spherical segmental technology, compliments the shape of the breast implant and the specific anatomic changes that occur in the augmented breast.
Ordinary wires are too wide to support the smaller foot print of the augmented breast. No9's wires are a complete semi circle, the exact shape of the implant, allowing the augmented breast to fit snugly within the wire shape.
When compared to a natural breast of equal or lesser volume, the augmented breast has a smaller base diameter and a wider cleavage and therefore does not "tack" in the midline on ordinary bras. No. 9 designed their center connector with this in mind and created a bra with the ideal distance between cups, allowing the bra to tack and providing support. When we adjusted these unique factors it contributed to an unprecedented cantilevered support, fit and comfort, uniquely for the enhanced women! In recent years, the trend in plastic surgery has been to use higher profile breast implants that have narrower base diameters and more projection. This provides larger, more projected breasts that are not so wide on the chest wall. Higher profile implants are ideal for women with narrow chests (e.g., 30, 32) that want to have large breasts; however these higher profile implants will widen the cleavage even more and greatly increase the depth requirement of the bra cup, furthering the necessity of a garment to meet the needs of a growing population of augmented women.
